Artisanal Jewelry Store

I love to make Jewelry and in my designs I use primarily natural precious and semi-precious gemstones.

Many pieces are embellished with gold, copper, brass and sterling silver. I have recently expanded my repertoire to include ceramic beads and leather from Greece, and African KAZURi beads in my designs.

KAZURi means “small and beautiful” in Swahili. These creative handmade beads produced in a workshop near Nairobi, Kenya, not only offer unique high-quality jewelry to people around the world, but also provide livelihoods to single women and men who otherwise may not have the means to support their families.

KAZURi beads are Fair Trade.

Custom Jewelry Design, Repairs and Classes...

If you have a favorite piece of jewelry that needs repair, I can do the following:

  • Restring a necklace or bracelet
  • Attach or replace charms or clasps
  • Increase or decrease the length of your jewelry.

All at reasonable prices. I can help design something special for you or make a piece that you design.

Want to learn to do it yourself? I teach classes in my studio: minimum 3 students; maximum 6.

Necklaces

Natural gemstones make beautiful necklaces. I use beads from all over the world, many with restorative healing powers. From 16” chokers to 36” strands, my creations are one-of-a kind, not to be found in stores at malls.

Ceramic, leather and copper bracelet

Bracelets

One can never have too many bracelets and mine come in a rainbow of colors, providing something for every outfit in your wardrobe. Most are stretchy and easy to wear. Some have magnets and a few are closed with lobster claws. There are several larger, more masculine designs, made especially for men. Be sure to look at the newest addition to my collection: bracelets with leather, metal and the very special ceramic beads from Greece.

Malas

One of my specialties is making malas which are Buddhist prayer beads. Mala beads have been around for thousands of years, created in India over 3,000 years ago. They are rooted in Hinduism and Buddhism and are meant to help you focus your mind during meditation. A Mala traditionally has 108 beads. The largest bead, in the center, is known as the guru. It is said to hold the energy generated during your practice. The number is often described as the numerical equivalent of “Om,” one of the most important spiritual sounds in meditation. They're more than just trendy necklaces or bracelets. They have a deep connection to mental grounding and opening your mind to spirituality.

Earrings

I have earrings galore, in all colors and metals, made with beads, crystals and pearls. Match them to a necklace or bracelet or buy an already paired boxed set. Some of the earrings are made with clear quartz crystals, one of the most powerful healing stones.

What does Fair Trade mean?

Artisans and indigenous people receive a fair wage for their products. Which means we are supporting women and men in their native country to be able to support their families.
